Know the exact place and time of the interview
Arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled interview.
Appear confident as you walk in to your interview. Smile! Shake hands firmly.
Wait until you are offered a chair before sitting. Sit upright, and lean slightly toward the interviewer.
Be a good listener and answer questions in a brief but effective manner.
Maintain good eye contact.
Don’t answer with a simple "yes" or "no." Describe your specific achievements as they relate to the position.
Don’t make derogatory remarks about your present or former employers. When explaining your reasons for leaving, limit your comments to those necessary to communicate your rationale.
Prepare. Prepare. Prepare. Practice interviewing techniques.
Wear the proper attire:

Suit/Nice Dress.
Neutral colors WITH sleeves.
Do NOT wear scrubs/uniforms.
No low-cut blouses/shirts.
One earring per ear.
No "loud" makeup.
Hair should be neat and practical.
Clean and manicured fingernails with no "loud" nail polish.
No heavy perfume (for Oncology groups you should NEVER wear perfume).

Be aware of your body language – the movements and gestures you make during an interview are just as important as what you say!
Annunciate and speak clearly – your grammar skills say a lot about you.
Know your resume.
